What stays on your computer

Your watchlist, notes, settings, licence key and the price history the extension downloads are kept in Chrome’s storage on your own computer. They are not sent to us. Removing the extension deletes them.

What the extension sends, and to whom

• The Sensifty data service (api.sensifty.com) sends price and market files to the extension. Those requests carry nothing about you.
• Third-party price data providers supply recent and live prices, and sometimes a stock’s longer history. Each request contains a stock symbol and its exchange, and nothing else.

Those providers have their own privacy policies, which apply to the requests sent to them.

Licence keys and the trial

Starting the free trial sends a random identifier for your installation, so the trial is given once. A licence key is sent to the data service once a day to check that it is valid. Licence records hold the email address used to buy Pro, the plan and its end date.

Buying Pro

Payments are handled by our payment provider, under its own terms and privacy policy. We receive your email address and the details of what you bought, never your card or bank details. Your email is used to send your licence key and to write to you about your purchase.

This website

sensifty.com uses no cookies and no analytics. Like any website, its host keeps standard request logs, which include IP addresses.

Emails you send us

If you write to us, we keep the conversation to answer you, and for no other purpose.

Your choices

You can remove the extension at any time to delete everything stored on your computer. To have your licence record deleted, or to ask what we hold about you, write to us.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new date.
